Winter Adventure

There lived a bear named Bruno in the forest. He was huge and powerful, with thick brown fur and big paws that left deep footprints in the snow. In winter, when the leaves on the trees fell off and the frost penetrated to the very bones, Bruno loved to spend time in his cozy den. But one day he got bored. He suddenly remembered how in the summer he often met with little hedgehog Hazel. They loved spending time together: she was picking mushrooms, and he was helping her pick tall berries from the bushes. "What if we find winter berries?" – Bruno wondered.

However, it was not easy to find berries in winter. Everything in the forest is covered with snow, and the trees are leafless. The places where berries usually grew disappeared under a thick layer of snow. But Bruno couldn't forget his girlfriend, and decided that she would definitely help him. He went to her house.

Hazel lived in a small cozy burrow located at the foot of an old oak tree. Despite the cold, her house was warm and smelled of coniferous forest. Bruno tapped the ground with his paw.

– Hazel! Are you at home? – He called loudly.

A few seconds later, a small but very determined hedgehog appeared from behind the door. She wasn't scared of Bruno at all, despite his size, because she had long been used to his kindness.
