Общая история
In the first part of the book titled "Aryana Vedja - Aryan Expanse: Forgotten Homeland" (instead of a preface), the author challenges the traditional understanding of European history. The European consciousness has been shaped by legends that uphold the idea of the West and the East as separate entities. This division categorizes the origins of civilization as Greek statues, Roman law, and Christian commandments, while dismissing everything else as barbarism and ignorance. However, the author argues that Greek statues and architectural styles originated in Persia, and that Roman law and certain Christian rituals and symbols were influenced by the "barbaric" East. This leads to the question of where the East ends and the West begins.
The current understanding of the East-West divide is seen as a remnant of the colonial era when the world was divided. Some Europeans were interested in erasing the truth about their Eastern roots and perpetuating myths. This was done to create divisions and incite wars among Europeans when necessary. The author also explores the cold relationship between the Scots and the English, the French and the Spanish, as well as the animosity between Serbs, Albanians, and Croats. The historic conflicts between the North and the South in Italy and France are also seen in a new light.
The historical narratives covered in this book were established in the late Middle Ages during the era of Great Geographic Discoveries, when colonialism began to take shape. The conquest of countries and peoples became a global phenomenon, and the author suggests that this may have influenced the creation of the East-West divide.
